Our beginnings

The  Fellowship was formed from The Official Catweazle Fan Club. Which is on www.catweazlefanclu.co.uk if you wish to view more about that part. For over 20 years we attended the Hexwood Farm summer fete. at first we were blessed to have Catweazle, Carrot, Kip Carpenter, Elspet and Moray join us each year. Sadly, all our dear dear friends have passed away, with has inevitably meant a fall off in membership as the biggest pleasure of joining was no longer available to folks.

However, many of us still have a Catweazle "Pull" and naturally friendships persisted over the years. Then the big blow was our spiritual home of Hexwood was put up for sale, which stopped our yearly pilgrimage to py homeage and have fun.

 Reasons to update

We wanted the name and love for Catweazle to carry on, but instead of putting our funds into the yearly Catweazle weekend, which were considerable, it was decided that we might as well do something that all our departed friends would be proud off. So The Catweazle Fellowship now raises funds for different childrens charities. This is not easy and getting like-minded and dedicated fundraisers or at least participants join us.

Our Aims

0ur aims are simple, to raise as much money as we can in the name and for the love of Catweazle and all associated with the series. The memories have never faded for us fans and it is a great feeling to do some good in their names and keep the memory alive. We try to do a different charity each year. Our first charity was for Great Ormonde Street Hospital and we managed to raise £1000 for them which we were delighted with as were they. Our second charity is "Make A Wish"

Would you like to join us or help donate?

There will be ways to help if you would like to, especially if you are a Catweazle fan naturally. You can join the fellowship, you can buy any merchandise, you can join in with any of our fundraising efforts or just do a random donation. Every penny of profit goes directly to the charity. A Go Fund Me page is going to be set up as soon as we can. We will also be putting the 3 monthly newsletter on here, that you will be able to view and see whats going on. There will also be Catweazle articles and photos on here as we go along, so please be patient.
